Quick Facts
History & Background
The HP 28C is HP's very first graphing calculator. Rather uniquely amongst its kind, it adpots a clamshell design in order to fit the full ABC keyboard on the left. It was also the first widely-avaliable calculator to feature the capability to manipulate symbolic algebraic expressions (a capablility we call 'CAS', or the Computer Algebra System, today). This, combined with the powerful RPL language and input, marks it as the first in a long line of greats.

I purchased this particular calculator from a seller on eBay in Illinois. It was clearly well-used before I obtained it; there is a name scratched below the SN and the hinge is rather unpleasent with time. Regardless, with some new 'N' cells (Not exactly standard these days) it works like a charm.
